Welcome to Connected Collective. By using connectedcollective.cc, you agree to these terms.
1. What we are (and aren't)
CC is a curation, education, and community platform for connected devices. We publish product recommendations, setup guides, and host a member community. We are not the manufacturer or seller of record for the physical products featured on this site. Products purchased through embedded checkout or affiliate links are sold, shipped, warrantied, and supported by the respective brand or retailer.
2. Purchases
- Embedded checkout purchases are processed by the brand's own commerce system (e.g., Shopify). Orders are shipped and supported by that brand. Returns, warranties, and shipping questions go to the brand — we link their support on every confirmation page.
- Affiliate link purchases happen entirely on the retailer's site, under their terms.
- CC subscriptions (member tiers) are billed through Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. Refund requests: hello@connectedcollective.co within 14 days of first purchase.
3. Guides and content
Our guides and recommendations are provided for general informational purposes. Follow manufacturer instructions and local electrical/safety codes when installing devices. We are not responsible for damage arising from device installation or use. Product prices and availability shown on CC are checked regularly but may lag the retailer's current price — the price at checkout on the brand's system is always authoritative.
4. Community rules
Be genuinely helpful, be respectful, no spam, no harassment, no posting others' personal information. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Content you post remains yours; you grant CC a license to display it on the platform.
5. Intellectual property
Site content (guides, articles, design) belongs to Connected Collective. Don't republish it commercially without permission. Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; their appearance here doesn't imply endorsement of CC.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, CC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, guides, or linked products. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid CC in the past 12 months.
7. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.
